About Me

​Hello world! My name is William Vennes. I currently live in Austin, TX, but I am orignally from North Branch, Minnesota.

I am currently a Game Engineer at Rooster Teeth Games, with 3 years and counting of professional game programming experience!

I have spent the majority of my life loving video games, and I have always been fascinated by the systems and underlying architecture that make them work. I have a passion for gaming and programming, and as such, have focused my collegiate studies towards a potential career in the video games industry.

I am interested in all aspects of game programming, but I am especially interested in gameplay programming! I love crafting architectures that drive game systems and empower other developers, and enjoy the fulfillment that stems from solving difficult problems. I want to create technologies to explore and expand upon gameplay of existing genres, in addition to exploring new and unique possibilities in game design.
